FILMING LZT AT THE IVY

This month I had the pleasure of working with the guys from Luke Zanc Trio again.

We did 2 videos in 2 different locations at The Ivy, Sydney.


We had the guys pre record their audio at Tommirock Studios, Newcastle with Mitta Norath and then we filmed a few passes with playback.

I filmed on my BlackMagic Ursa Mini 4.6K, however my easyrig rope had worn and snapped and a rereplacment had not arrived, So we were lucky enough to be able to get one from The Front for the day that worked a treat.

The first video we shot indoors at the stair case which remind a lot of the movie Titanic, (hence the walking up the stair case in the opening shot).

The lighting was very warm so we matched that with a couple of red heads to give a bit more contrast to the guys performing.

Once finished in this location we moved to the pool bar as a last minute idea for another video.

Always enjoy working with these guys and looking forward to doing more in the near future.
